To get to the research databases
Go to TCC's main web page www.tacomacc.edu > Click Student Resources > Under the Learning Centers heading, select Library > Click All Research Databases > Select the database > Log into the login authentication point

Go to TCC's main web page www.tacomacc.edu > Click Current Student: My TCC Portal > Log into the Portal > Select Learning Resources > In the Library section, Click All Research Databases > Select the database > Log into the login authentication point
For research help, refer students to the Reference Desk in the Library (building 7).
Research Database Login Information
Username: Student ID number (970------)
Password: The TCC Portal username (JDoe12345)
If logging in with this information does not work, you can set up a manual user account with the student. Follow these steps:
(3) Next to Student ID number (in the box next to "970"), have the student fill in his or her student ID number
(4) As the password, have the student enter his or her TCC Portal username. *This is case sensitive, make sure to capitalize the first letter of the first name and the first letter of the last name (the first two letters). Now confirm the password by typing the same username again.
(5) Have the student enter his or her forename (first name), surname (last name), and TCC email address. Don't worry about filling in the optional information. Make sure to have all required information filled out.
(6) Scroll to bottom of page and click "Submit Details"
